Green Hydrogen Atlas Africa Project
Dr. Fortunate Farirai is the National Team Leader for Zimbabwe.It is an initiative by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Forschungszentrum Jülich, SADC Centre for Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency (SACREEE), the Southern African Science Service Centre for Climate Change and Adaptive Land Management (SASSCAL)
The project is focused on assessing the potential of generating hydrogen in sub-Saharan Africa from the renewable energy sources in the region. H2Atlas Africa launched the first Green Hydrogen Atlas Southern Africa results in 2023.
